Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 22 May 2026
Our commitment
Halbon Labs Ltd (trading as Template Empire) is committed to making templateempire.io and the products we ship usable by the widest reasonable audience. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This statement covers the storefront, account console, and all marketing surfaces under the templateempire.io domain. It does not cover third-party content embedded within our site (e.g. Stripe's hosted checkout) — those services maintain their own accessibility statements.
What we audit before each release
Every release passes a quality-gate checklist that includes:
- WCAG 2.2 AA contrast on text (4.5:1) and UI components (3:1) in dark and light themes
- Keyboard-only navigation across the full primary flow (landing → catalogue → PDP → checkout)
- Screen-reader smoke pass with NVDA and VoiceOver on representative pages
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, headings, and labelled form controls
- Prefers-reduced-motion respected on all motion-heavy components
- Skip-to-main link present from the root layout
Known issues
We document open accessibility issues in our public roadmap. As of the date above, we are aware of these gaps:
- A small number of decorative SVG illustrations on the landing page do not yet have
aria-hiddenattributes; these may briefly read as “graphic” to screen readers. - Some animation-heavy landing sections rely on scroll-triggered motion. Users with
prefers-reduced-motionget a static fallback; users without that preference but with vestibular sensitivities should report the specific surface and we will add static fallbacks individually.
We are tracking these for the next release wave. If you encounter anything missing from this list, please tell us — see below.
Reporting a barrier
If you find a page, feature, or product detail you can't use because of a disability or assistive-tech incompatibility, email support@templateempire.io with the URL, the assistive technology you're using, and a brief description. We aim to acknowledge within 2 working days and to respond with a fix plan within 10 working days.
